How to get to Gressoney

FROM ITALY
The main access to the refuge is the Gressoney Valley, Valle d'Aosta. From Stafal a cable car service goes up to Colle Bettaforca, 2,670 m, about 3 hours from the refuge. It is also possible to access the refuge from Val d'Ayas by taking advantage of an off-road service to reach Colle Bettaforca or with a walk of about 6 hours.
From Milan: A4 Milan - Turin - Santhià - Ivrea - Aosta motorway - Pont-Saint-Martin exit continue for 34 km towards Gressoney-La-Trinité, locality Stafal.
From Turin: A5 Ivrea - Aosta motorway - Pont-Saint-Martin exit continue for 34 km towards Gressoney-La-Trinité, locality Stafal.
From Genoa: A26 motorway Genoa - Alessandria - Santhià - Aosta - Pont-Saint-Martin exit continue for 34 km towards Gressoney-La-Trinité, locality Stafal.
From Champoluc - Ayas: exit at the Verrès motorway tollbooth. Take the Val d'Ayas for 32 km to Saint-Jacques, from where the path that leads to Colle Bettaforca starts and continues to the refuge (about 6 hours). It is possible to take advantage of an off-road taxi service, upon reservation (+39 335-6626748).

Important: the roads leading to Colle Bettaforca and Pian di Verra are not passable by unauthorized private vehicles.

FROM SWITZERLAND
Through Martigny and the Gran San Bernardo tunnel:
you reach Aosta, take the A5 motorway, Pont-Sain-Martin exit. Continue towards Gressoney-La-Trinité.
Through Lugano: Chiasso - Arese - A9 - Rho - Santhià - A4 direction Ivrea - A5 Pont-Saint-Martin exit. Continue towards Gressoney-La-Trinité.

FROM FRANCE

Across the Piccolo San Bernardo pass: Aosta - A5 - Pont-Saint-Martin. Continue towards Gressoney-La-Trinité.
Through the Frejius tunnel: Turin - A5 - Ivrea - Pont-Saint-Martin. Continue towards Gressoney-La-Trinité.
Through the Mont Blanc tunnel: Courmayeur - Aosta - Pont-Saint-Martin. Continue towards Gressoney-La-Trinité.
